Recently, I have read a book titled “Fablehaven”. The book was written by Brandon Mull and published on 30th of July 2006. I really love it.
This is a fantasy book. The main characters are Seth and Kendra. Their parents are sending them to their grandfather’s house on holidays. Kids are not happy because they don’t have good relationship with him. On holidays children discovered that their grandfather’s garden is magical and that he is the guardian of Fablehaven. Trolls, satires, pixies and fairies live in his garden. In the forest near the Fablehaven lives a witch, whose name is Muriel. While she is imprisoned, she has got grey long hair, is very skinny and wrinkled, but when she is free she is very tall and beautiful woman with long blonde hair. She has thirteen knots which don’t let her to leave her house. When the grandfather and his help – Lena – had been gone, kids went into the forest to look for them. Kendra and Seth untied the last knot and released Muriel in exchange for the promise to have a human form of their Grand Mother restored. Suddenly, the boy and grandmother were captured and Kendra had been left alone. She had to ask fairies for help. They had defeated Muriel and charmed away grandfather’s assistant. All family members were free.
When people are reading this book, they get into the world of magic and they want to read it all the time. This book has been praised by many people. In my opinion, it is very interesting, incredible and magical book. You will be involved in many adventures and simply enjoy reading this book.
